Workshop board

The workshop board shows every car in the shop at a glance: one column per job card step, from Checked in to Ready, plus On hold.

Go to Auto section › Workshop Board. You need the Workshop Board permission; opening a card needs Job Cards › View.

Each card shows:

• the plate number and job card number,
• the car (make, model, year) and the customer,
• the mechanic, if one is set,
• how long it has been in its step (for example 40 min, 3 h 05 min, 2 d 4 h).

Cards on hold show their reason and have an amber edge. Cards in Ready have a green edge. The counts at the top show how many job cards are open and on hold.

Click a card to open its job card. The board refreshes by itself every 15 seconds; Refresh reloads it at once. Check in starts a new job card. Delivered and cancelled job cards leave the board; find them in Job Cards.
