Company profile
The company profile is your company's identity in Zhmara X: the name, contact details and logo printed on every document, and the defaults used across the app.
Go to Settings › Organization.
The fields are split into tabs: Company details, Accounting defaults and Formats. Click a tab at the top, or use Back and Next, to move between them. Update saves the fields on every tab at once, so you can change several tabs and update once.
Company details
Logo (JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF, up to 10 MB), Name, Address, Industry, City, Country, Phone, Email and Website.
These print on invoices, bills, receipts, statements and reports. The Email also receives your online shop orders.
Accounting defaults
| Field | Used for |
|---|---|
| Base Currency | The currency your accounts are kept in. Shown whether multi-currency is on or off, so a company that works in one currency picks it here. Locked once transactions or opening balances exist. See Currencies. |
| Financial Year | The financial year the app works in: new documents and reports use it. Switch it at year end. See Financial years. |
| Start Date | The date you started using Zhmara X |
| Tax | The default tax for new items and for imported items with no tax. Invoice lines take the tax from the item. |
| Default Customer | Filled in on new sales documents, POS and income vouchers |
| Default Supplier | Filled in on new purchase documents, expenses and outcome vouchers |
| Default Project | Filled in on every new document |
Defaults only fill in new documents; you can change them on each document, and they never change saved ones.
Formats
- Date Format and Time Format: how dates and times are shown and printed.
- Time Zone: your local time; "today" and document times follow it, and so do automatic jobs such as recurring adjustments.
After you save, everyone signed in to your company gets the new formats, time zone, currency, financial year and defaults on the next page they open; nobody needs to sign out.
- Formatting Numbers: Number (2 Decimals), Number (No Decimals), Fixed-point, Exponential or Percent. Choose No Decimals for currencies like IQD.
Decimals always use . and thousands ,, in every language.
