Online shop and shipments

Zhmara X can publish a simple online shop for your company. Shoppers browse the items you choose, place an order and pay with FIB or on delivery. Each order is emailed to you; you then record the sale in Zhmara X yourself, so shoppers never write anything into your books.

The shop needs the Shop section in your plan and an active subscription.

Setting up the shop

Go to Settings › Shop.

  1. Shop Name: 3 to 50 letters or numbers, - and _ allowed, no spaces. It is your shop's web address: https://.../public/shops/your-shop-name. It must be unique.
  2. Turn on Shop Active to open the shop, then Add and Update.

Shoppers can pay online (QR, FIB) when Online shop is on in Settings › Payments, the company owner's page for your FIB keys. See Online payments. Otherwise they can only pay on delivery.

Orders are emailed to the company Email in Settings › Organization, so make sure it is correct.

What shoppers see

  • Items with Ecommerce ticked on the item page, with their images, description and sales price.
  • Your company name and logo.
  • The shipping methods you set up (below).

Shipments

Go to Sales › Shipment to list the delivery options shoppers can choose, for example Erbil city or Other cities, each with a Shipment Rate. Shipment names must be unique. To delete a shipment, turn the shop off first ("Turn the shop off first (Settings > Shop > Shop Active), then delete the shipment.").

When an order comes in

  • Paid online: the shopper scans the QR code (it can be paid for 30 minutes). The order is emailed once FIB confirms the payment for exactly the order total, marked Paid by FIB, and only once per payment. The shopper doesn't click anything after paying: the product page sends the order by itself and opens the thank-you page. If the name, phone or address is missing, the page asks for it and the shopper finishes with Send order. Changing the quantity or city, closing the box or choosing pay on delivery cancels the QR code. A Demo payment is marked Demo FIB payment: not real money in the email.
  • If the payment doesn't go through (declined or time up), nothing is sent; the shopper can make a new payment or choose pay on delivery.
  • Pay on delivery: the order is emailed marked Pay on delivery, with the amount to collect.
  • The email lists the item, quantity, prices, tax, shipping and total, the customer's name, phone and address, and the payment details. Reply to it to answer the customer.
  • The shopper gets an order confirmation in your company's name if they entered an email address.

Then create the sales invoice (and the receipt for paid orders) from the email.

To protect you from spam, a shop accepts a limited number of pay-on-delivery orders in a short time ("The shop has received many orders just now. Please try again in a few minutes.").

Turning the shop off

Turn off Shop Active. The shop page shows that it can't take orders. Delete removes the shop settings.
