Fee plans

A fee plan is what a grade pays in an academic year: its fees and its payment schedule. Go to Education section › Fee Plans. You need the Fee Plans permission. Each grade has one plan per year.

Fees

Each fee is an item: a service (Tuition, Registration, Bus) or goods (Books, Uniform). Add these items in Items first, with their tax. In the plan:

1. Choose the Year and Grade.
2. Add fee for each item, with its Amount (the item's price is suggested).
3. Tick Optional for fees only some students take, like the bus. On the student's Fees tab you choose who takes them.

Payment schedule

The year's fees are one invoice per student, paid partially over time. The schedule says how much should be paid by each date, for example:

The percentages must add up to 100%. With no schedule, everything is due at the start of the year. The schedule doesn't make separate invoices; it's what the school uses to see what is overdue (expected by today minus paid).

A plan that has been charged can't be deleted, and its grade and year can't change. An optional fee that students take can't be removed.
