Places

Places are where your orders belong: a restaurant's tables, a hotel's rooms, a salon's seats or a gaming hall's stations. They appear on the Tables board.

Go to Hospitality › Places. You need the Tables permission: View to see the list, Create to add, Edit to change places and the place word, Delete to delete.

What you call your places

We call our places sets the word used on screen: Table, Room, Seat or Station. The board's title, the place column and the POS change with it (in English, Arabic and Kurdish). Your data stays the same.

Adding a place

1. Click Add.
2. Enter the Name, for example T1, 101 or PC 4. Each place needs a different name.
3. Optionally enter an Area, for example Indoor, Terrace or Floor 1. Areas you already used are offered as you type. The board shows a button for each area.
4. Order sets where the place appears on the board (smallest first, then by name). New places get the next number.
5. Keep Active ticked and click Save.

Your plan may limit how many places you can add (Maximum places). When you reach it you'll see "You reached the number of places your plan allows." Contact us to upgrade the plan.

Changing or removing a place

• Edit changes the name, area, order or active state at any time.
• Inactive places are left off the board. Their past orders stay.
• Delete works only for a place that never had an order. Otherwise you'll see "This place has orders, so it can't be deleted." Make it inactive instead.
