Using reports

All reports are on one page, Reports, grouped by area. Every report reads the approved documents directly, so it is always up to date: there is nothing to run or refresh at month end.

Go to Reports section › Reports. The reports are in tabs at the top, starting with Accounting & Finance; some tabs hold more than one group, each under its own heading (for example Cash and bank shows the Cash and the Bank reports). Click a tab to see its reports, then click a report to open it. When you come back, the same tab is still selected.

You can also open a module's reports from its list page: the Reports button next to Add (for example on Sales Invoices, Purchase Bills, Items, Expenses, Journals or Bank Accounts) lists that module's reports you may open, and All reports opens the matching tab here. The button shows only when at least one of those reports is open to you.

Type in Search to find a report by name: while you type, the matching reports of every group show together, under their group names. Clear the search to get the tabs back.

Who sees which reports

A group appears only when its section is in your plan, and each report only when your role may view that area. For example, customer reports need the Sales permission, supplier reports Purchase, the cash book Cash Book, and Inventory Valuation needs View Cost.

Filters

Most reports have:

  • From Date / To Date, or As of Date for balances on a day
  • Project
  • a customer, supplier, account, item, warehouse or category, depending on the report
  • options such as Overdue only or Show customers without balance or movement

Change the filters and the report updates.

Pages

A long report shows 100 rows at a time. Under the table you see which rows are shown (for example Showing 1 To 100 of 5,430 entries), buttons to move to the first, previous, next and last page or a page number, and Rows per page: 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 or All. A new search or filter starts again at page 1.

The totals at the bottom always add up all rows, not only the page you see. The General Ledger is paged by account (each account keeps all its lines and its own total), and Customer Sales by Item and Supplier Purchases by Item by customer or supplier.

From a report to its documents

Reports link to where their numbers come from, so you can follow any amount back to the invoice, bill or voucher behind it.

  • Voucher numbers open the document the line came from (the sales invoice, purchase bill, receipt, payment, expense, income or outcome voucher, journal, journal adjustment, bank transaction, asset bill or payment, stock adjustment, credit or debit note, and so on). This works in the Account Transaction, General Ledger, Cash Book, Bank Statement, Cheque Register, Uncleared Transactions, Customer and Supplier Statement, Stock Movement, Advance Payment and Daily Salary reports, Income and Outcome Summary and the sales, purchase, expense and asset reports. Use your browser's Back to return to the report.
  • Account names in the Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, their summaries, the Cash Flow Statement and the Account Transaction open the General Ledger for that account, with the same period and project, so you see every entry that makes up the figure. From there, a voucher number opens the document.
  • Customer and supplier names open their statement; bank and cash accounts open the Bank Statement or Cash Book; item names in the inventory reports open the item's Stock Movement.

A few entries have no document page of their own: opening balances open the account, customer or supplier they belong to, year-closing entries open Manage Project Closings, depreciation opens the asset's depreciation list and monthly salary vouchers open the salary voucher list. When there is nothing to open (for example the document was deleted), a page says so with a Back button.

The document opens only if your role may view it; otherwise you see Access Denied. Printed and exported reports show the numbers as plain text.

Printing and exporting

Every report has Print, PDF and Excel. Printing and exporting always include every row, whichever page you are on.

  • Every report starts with your company logo, name, address, phone and email, then the report title, the period (or As Of date), the project if you filtered by one, the currency and when and by whom it was printed. The logo, address and contacts come from your company profile.
  • Print opens the report on A4 paper (wide reports with many columns, such as sales by item or the bank statement, print landscape) with fixed margins and a white background, so there is nothing to adjust in the print window. The column headings repeat on every page, rows are never cut in half, and each page ends with the company and report name and Page x of y. Arabic and Kurdish print right to left.
  • PDF downloads a ready PDF file made on the server, with the same layout and page numbers, named after the report, company and date (for example Trial Balance - My Company - 2026-10-07.pdf). The text in it is real text, so you can search and copy it. If the server can't make the PDF at that moment, the print window opens instead: choose Save as PDF there.
  • Excel downloads the table named after the report.

Amounts

Reports are in the base currency unless they say otherwise. Customer and supplier statements are in the base currency too; bank and cash reports show each account in its own currency with the base value alongside.

Drafts

Drafts are not posted, so they don't appear in balances, aging or financial statements.
