Zhmara X is online accounting and business software for small and medium companies. It handles your sales, purchases, stock, expenses, cash and bank, fixed assets, payroll and full double-entry accounting in one place, in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
What you can do with it

Every document you approve posts its accounting entries automatically, so your reports are always up to date. You don't need to be an accountant to use it, but an accountant will find everything they expect.
How this help is organised
- Getting started: register, run the setup wizard and enter your first data.
- Key concepts: ideas that apply everywhere, such as draft and approved documents, currencies, financial years and projects.
- One section per part of the app (Sales, Purchases, Inventory...), following the menu on the left of the app.
- Troubleshooting: what the messages you may see mean, and how to fix them.
Inside the app, the ? button at the top of the screen opens the help article for the page you are on.
Who can see what
What you see in the menu depends on two things:
- Your company's plan. Each plan includes certain sections (for example Bank, Payroll or POS). A section that isn't in your plan is hidden. See Plans and registration.
- Your role. The company owner sees everything. Other users see only what their role allows. See Roles and permissions.
If a page described here is missing from your menu, one of these two is the reason.
